Introduction

The iistronauts Gen 2.0 is an NFT collection based on the Internet Computer Protocol, available on the Toniq.io NFT marketplace. This collection symbolizes the exploration and conquest of new worlds by iistronauts within the Internet Computer ecosystem.

Overview

Planets
The iistronauts are designed to reach and conquer six different planets, ordered by their distance from the base:

  • Vanadium (Orange)
  • Iridium (Purple)
  • Titanium (Yellow)
  • Chromium (Blue)
  • Iridium (Pink)
  • Carbon (Black)
Ranks and Roles
Each iistronaut belongs to one of three ranks, determining their roles and responsibilities within the collection:
  • Builder:
Responsible for constructing settlements and infrastructure.
  • Sentinel:
Tasked with protecting home planets and their inhabitants.
  • Skyward:
Assigned to explore and colonize new worlds.
Traits and Characteristics
An iistronaut has 12 different traits, which change color based on the planets they have reached:
  • Helmet
  • Spacesuit
  • Controls
  • Detectors
  • Patch
  • Wiring
  • Belt
  • Knee Pockets
  • Gloves
  • Boots
  • Zipper
  • Jetpack
Rarity and Classes
The more planets an iistronaut reaches, the rarer they become. There are a total of 66 different iistronaut classes, each defined by 12 traits. The number of NFTs per class decreases as more planets are reached.

Example:
The least rare class (Builder, no planets reached) has 319 copies. The rarest iistronaut (Skyward, all six planets reached) exists only twice.

iistronauts Game

Introduction and Concept
The iistronauts game on Bioniq is a PvP game where players manage teams of NFTs from the Gen 2.0 collection. It requires strategic thinking and adept management of available resources and abilities.
Squad Composition
Each team (squad) consists of three roles:
  • Builder
  • Sentinel
  • Skyward
Succes Rate and Point System
The success rate of a squad is determined by the combined points of its members, influenced by their level, role multipliers, and origin multipliers.
Traits System and Relevance
Traits add complexity and strategy, each having different values. The values depend on the material and level of the trait, adding another layer of strategy to the game.
Match Mechanics
Battle Setup
There are two crucial battles in each match:
  • Squad 1 Skyward vs. Squad 2 Sentinel
  • Squad 2 Skyward vs. Squad 1 Sentinel
Health and Points Allocation
Builder: Provides health points.

Sentinel: Combines Builder's health points with defense points.

Skyward: Combines Builder's health points with attack points.
Determining the Winner
Initial Points Comparison: Higher total points win the battle.

Bonus Mechanism:
A random number (10-90) determines a 10% bonus for the losing squad if their success rate exceeds the random number.

Synergy Bonus:
2 members sharing the same origin suffix receive a 12.5% bonus; 3 members receive a 25% bonus.

Honor Points:
Each Honor will be added to the total trait points.
Final Match Outcome
  • Winning both battles wins the match.
  • Each squad winning one battle results in a draw.
Rewards
Players of the winning squad will earn +1 XP on their NFTs per won game. The XP required to achieve Honor increases with each level.
Honor and XP Overview
1 Honor = 1 XP
2 Honor = 2 XP (total 3 XP)
3 Honor = 3 XP (total 6 XP)
4 Honor = 4 XP (total 10 XP)
5 Honor = 5 XP (total 15 XP)
...

Once an NFT reaches the required XP, it will receive the corresponding Honor. The goal is to reward winners of squad battles with NAUT tokens once a certain number of Honor points is reached. The exact threshold for the distribution of NAUT tokens still needs to be extensively tested.
